I'm using virtual dj 8 and my cdj 2000 nexus start up very slow when i press play didn't have that problem with number 7 any body know why or any help ?

Check the position of the RELEASE/START knob at the top right of the CDJ. This adjusts the start speed and TOUCH/BRAKE adjusts the stop speed respectively.

NOTE: Start/stop time was not supported in VirtualDJ v7 and earlier.
