Hmmm, just had the GeForce Drivers updated to the latest version which includes huge improvements to DirectX.
Should be interesting to see how it affects plugins.

Let me how it's working for you. I've been holding off on any updates, until I finish a sweet 16 party Sat.

As far as i know VDJ still requires directx9.
So in case existing x9 files have being overwritten, you might have to reinstall the x9 drivers...

No, it's working fine so far. Haven't needed to re-install directx9 yet.

I'm tempted. Did you notice any improvements?

Tested the update yesterday evening (i5, HD4000 & GT630M with 2 GB) with HD-video and Milkdrop. So far all seems more stable (a little less CPU-usage) and Milkdrop looks smoother. Tomorrow I'll try to push it some more.

As i remember Microsoft drops a few things from 9 to 10 so this is why you need the DX9.x Libraries to do some tuff that is needed in VDJ and many Plugins, too.
