VDJ 8 CRASHES ON ME AND RESTARTS AGAIN, ALSO CPU FLIES HIGH AFTER A COUPLE OF VIDEO MIXES. I NEED A FIX ASAP. OTHER THAN THAT, I LOVE THE NEW UPGRADE.

First, please do not write in caps. That is considered as shouting.
If VDJ restarts right after a crash, then the crash guard is active.
If you are connected to the internet while VDJ is crashing you crashlogs get uploaded to the Devs. So they are aware of the crash.
Could you provide more informations on what system you are using and maybe what you are doing when it is crashing.
Is it always the same operation that crashes VDJ? Or is it random?

Also what version are you running? (What build of v8 and are you PC or Mac?)

Hi,
It looks like a ID3 Tag issue in your case.
Open .\Documents\VirtualDJ\settings.xml with for example Notepad.
Modify the line <getTagsAuto>yes</getTagsAuto> in <getTagsAuto>no</getTagsAuto> then save it.
Open VirtualDJ. Tell us if it crashes now.

As VDJ 8 is still technically beta, you should always run the most stable public release as a lot of bugs are being fixed weekly.
