I load up VDJ 8 and it states that an update has been done & do i want to use it, and has the y/n to run it. I say yes it pops up with the do you want to run stuff from windows, then starts the vdj install prog, then comes up with the message that the update has failed & do you want to try again (that becomes just a loop if you say yes) and no brings up the non updated version, which is cool, no issues there.

as of the update that was done a couple of days ago all is well

Same problem again, this time change log is for 1932

That's because a process of Virtualdj.exe is still running, if you try to kill it, the windows will inform you that you can't because it's protected... Only possible solution reboot...

If I'd shut down my desktop pc as often as I shut down the laptop this would never have been an issue, but my desktop runs almost 24/7
