What file type is it, and how is it encoded? Is it VBR by any chance?

its an mp3 file

the VBR header is corrupted and until VDJ scans it fully it will read wrong.
only app i know that fixes corrupt headers is foobar 2000 its a media player easy to find with a Google search if u decide u need to fix the headers.

only one i could find it should be good its simple to do
thewobblingmind.wordpress.com/2007/09/15/fixing-track-duration-length-of-mp3-foobar2000/
All you have to do is:
Right click the “corrupted” track in question in your foobar2k player
Select Utils
Choose “Fix VBR MP3 header”
That’s all to fix the track duration length!
