Win 1973
I'm sure you could drag effects into folders/groupings from the effect drop down menu. But I've just helped someone who asked about this and I tried myself (first time in months) And I couldn't,
I'm more than convinced that I have done in the past. Could some one confirm that this was the case just for my sanity?

Should work indeed. Keep in mind that it is only possible for installed effects, not for the built-in native effects.

It doesn't and I'm talking about 3rd party VST's
The move icon (little square) shows up but they don't move.

Tested and working OK here for non built-in VDJ effects and VSTs. I can move them in and out of folders :)

Thanks for the reply Scott,
I'll have a poke around in windows maybe there's a permission or something stopping me or maybe I'm not getting it quite right.
False alarm folks, Move along.

Does that mean it's working for you now?

Apologies, USER ERROR, If you drag FX into group/folder header it will move, but if you drag it into a open(expanded) group it doesn't move.
