Sujet: Help with custom button/knob

I'm using VDJ 8 and I was wondering if you can assign two effects to the custom knob and how I would go about doing this,
I want to make the knob control the echo effect and the filter effect simultaneously

effect_slider "echo" 1 & effect_slider "filter" 1

Change the '1's to the number of the dial within the effects.
