Hi,
I am using VDJ8 and an American Audio MXR19 mixer/controller.
No matter what i do, i cannot seem to set this up using 4 decks coming through my main speakers.
The audio config just seems to keep reverting and changing around?
Any ideas of how to do this?
Thanks

Basically there are two modes. Mixer mode and controller mode.
If you want four decks then you have to use controller mode, as the 19MXR doesn't have enough USB audio channels to handle four decks in mixer mode.

I think ive sussed it.
set to controller mode BUT the pdf is wrong.
set master to ADJASIO 1&2
set headphones to ADJASIO CHANNEL 1 mono
seems to work. will give it a proper run tomorrow.

Well in that case American Audio themselves have got it "wrong", because it says exactly the same thing in the original 19MXR manual.
There are two stereo USB channels from the computer to the mixer. In controller mode, 1&2 is used for the master and 3&4 for headphones.
If that's not working for you then either there's something amiss with your 19MXR (which wouldn't surprise me) or some other aspect of your set up.
