Sujet: VDJ 8 with OS X 10.10 using Xponent

I just purchased VDJ for controller Xponent and running on a MBP with the latest OS X 10.10. I have connected the controller via USB and so far it doesn't look like VDJ is even aware that I have a controller hooked up. Help please.

I installed the drivers yes. But I think the problem is having the Xponent hooked directly up to my mac. When I plug in the USB cable I get the "too much power from a USB device, USB ports disabled" message. I tried a bunch of other devices and they work fine. So maybe I just need to run the Xponent through a powered USB hub? I don't recall having to do this a few years ago. Anyone else had this issue?
