now acitvate beatlock on right deck
press play-pause
result: track wont stop and play very slowly

Right. There seems to be a problem when pitchlock is activated.
Steps to repoduce.
-Activate Beatlock
-Load left deck and let it run.
-Load load the right deck and let it run.
-Stop the right deck and have a look at the Rhytmline ;-)
Seems to be the same on PC & Mac.

I spotted this ages ago but took it as, that's the way it is,
Perhaps either the pause button could be script amended at the mapping/skin level (possible by the user) or it could be changed at the internal code level (atomix's job).
I'm not sure I'm still trying to use it as a F'd up feature, changing the ramp time, to make it sound good as a one off effect.
