Sujet Full access to context menu's via script

I thought this was possible but can't remember how,
I'd like to access context menus via script and pick an option something like
track_options 8 3
would perform the 3rd sub option of the 8th option (file options>delete in this instance)
or like
track_options 'file options' 'delete'
