It worked in 8 for me but caused some random force closing for VDJ8 just by being in the effect list. Best to wait until it is compiled for 8. BTW, I only had it in my list because I used it on VDJ7, so you may still see my same crashes. Hopefully you won't :)

Ive tested this plugin on my testing machine with v8, win 7 and it appears to work..

Well that's another new year seen in courtesy of Scott's countdown plugin and a video clip... was a great relief to find that it worked with version 8! Happy new year everyone!
