When I use this program to control VDJ it minimizes all windows and gives me an error that Splashtop can't work with full screen access . Is this a glitch with SplashTop, VDJ or my system?

Check your Spalshtop settings.
I haven't used Splashtop for a while, but when I did it used to work properly and it didn't minimize anything.
One thing that you really must pay attention is that you need to configure splashtop to NOT change your desktop's screen resolution.
