I've been using VDJ8 with my two Denon 3900s and X1600 mixer, Windows 8 UltraBook since it came out basically. Yesterday the software did an automatic update, and following the update it has become completely unresponsive. The software appears to load up normally, but as soon as I click on anything, including the settings button, it freezes. I get the little spinning working icon next to my mouse pointer, and the software never responds and has to be terminated. I've kept VDJ7 installed all along, so it was no big problem to just switch back and use that. But I thought this was a significant bug worth sharing. If there's anything I can do to provide more useful information to the development team I'd be happy to oblige. Cheers.

Could you try to delete the settings.xml from /Documents/VirtualDJ folder and launch again ?
