Sujet video error in vdj 8

ok when i go to record video on vdj 8. and select mp4 format and when i click on record i get a message unable to start recording? how can i fix this? i already unstalled it and installed it again and same thing..can someone help?

what are your settings in options/ record ?
what are your hardware specs and OS ?

my specs are windows 7.i7 and 8 gigs of ram..and the output is to my Documents

that is really strange.... should work flawless....
sure the videocard drivers are up to date ? no generic drivers ?

Yes it is because I was able to record before then all of a sudden this?

Please try to change the resolution to 720x480 ( default)

Hello, i had the same error but today i start searching on my nvidia configuration and change some things... And i don´t know why but now it works! I have a vaio i5 4 RAM and nvidia geforce...

Was this ever solved? I have the same problem. Just subscribed to Pro Monthly, and I'm dead in the water on recording video. Web version is horrible, and MP4 will give same message as this guy was posting. Also, the program, crashes and restarts itself often. WTF?
