I have bought the Numark mixtrack 2 which comes with virtual DJ karaoke, video and audio. However, reading the comments on this site which are saying I would have to upgrade to the Virtual DJ pro for the decks to work without cutting out, is this true or would I be able to install the software which comes with the mixtrack 2 and use them as normal and works fully instead of stopping every 10 minutes?

Cripes man, simmer down, yes you can use LE (the bundled software) LE is the bare minimum version of VDJ to operate every dial and button, but LE excludes a few things,
Remapping, can't be done with LE
Several of the editors are omitted from LE
LE does not permit use as a paid dj.
If you're going to be doing paid gigs, you must have a pro licence or subscription
If you want to use all the V8 features but you're not a paid dj you want a controller licence (AKA plus licence)
If you don't want to pay anything then LE (bundled software) will run your device.

Also register your LE serial number and you may get a small reduction on upgrade purchases, that and you get a few forum privileges too.
