In VDJ 7, I can activate the Camera for live feed on when Deck 1 or 2 are playing. In VDJ8, it only activate when I'm playing on Deck 1. When I play in Deck 2 and activate the camera, I get a Black/Blank Screen. How can I set this to work like it did in V7 ?
I want it to work when I activate the camera on any of the Decks are playing.

If you use it on the master effect, it should work on either deck. If you have it select on deck one, you will also have to select it on deck two.

What/How is the script to assigned it to a button ?
I tried
master_effect "camera" & effect_active
no luck.

just tried playing with it and don't seem to work if you have SLIDESHOW on Master effect.
In V7 I can have the Slideshow and when I activate Camera it works and when I turn off camera, it goes back to slideshow.
I have a feeling that you can only have ONE MASTER EFFECT in V8 active at any given time.
If that is the case, is there a way to make it work on BOTH DECKS ?

No scripting involved. In deck 1, select the camera in the pulldown, from visualizations. Do the same thing on deck 2. You can also select the camera as a videoaudioonly effect.
