Hello, very strange, everytime I press ESC on my keyboard VDJ8 Beta ver. 2352, whihout notice and while a song is still playing...

i can't replicate here check the keyboard mapping of the ESC key must have something there

It seems that the "Optional" default keyboard mapping is selected (Esc is assigned to Close the application).
Goto Settings-->Controllers tab and choose the "Default" default mapping for the keyboard.
