Sujet Mic Help?

Hi Guys, I am using VDJ v8. I am wanting to run a live! show. Is there a keyboard function for dipping the music while you talk? I have looked and can't see anything to help. I have to use my mouse to drop the volume slider to talk. Any help on this would be just great?

You can try this:

deck 1 level 50% while_pressed & deck 2 level 50% while_pressed

Search the forum for 'ducking'. There are several posts which go into more detail about how it can be done.

Hi, sorry but how do i set the deck audio level to 50%? is it in mapping I think? and how then do I drop the music for voice overs?

You need to assign the script PachN posted to a custom button.
