Hey guys....VDJ browser is getting stuck on "searching". I'm sure this is a database issue, but unlike VDJ7, I can't seem to find the option to fix/clean database. Anybody have any ideas?

V8 should fix the database by itself if needed.
If you want to "force" a fix do the following:
Note: Please backup all your database.xml first. Following this instruction is at your own risk!
Now, if you think a specific database.xml is causing the issue, open that file with an editor like notepad.
Scroll to the very end of the file and delete, and only this, part of the file.
</VirtualDJ_Database>
This should be the last element of the file.
After deleting it, save and close the file.
Open VDJ again.
VDJ should now prompt you that the database file is corrupt and if you want to fix it.
Click an yes.

Please show us a pic of the fields you have selected for search, there is a issue with certain fields that will slow search to a crawl

Can't take a pic right now, but what you're talking about sounds about right. In my config menu, I only have "searchinfolder" and "searchinDB" turned on. As for my browser fields, I have artist/title/bpm/genre/length/year/playcount.
Hopefully this gives you the info your looking for. Thanks
