Virtual dj 7 . I have effect ( in between a flanger and a phaser ) that is on constantly . The EFFECT light is off . But the parameter knobs alter the ghost effect . It's every song . Both decks .

Or just turn off the sound to the effect ... That would work as well

Most likely you have a loop feedback and not an effect turned on.
Check your settings and if needed tell us what soundcard/controller you use and show us a screenshot of your sound configuration
