How do I stop my mac setting my auto pitch/BPM

Do you mean that when you load a new track, the pitch changes to match the one that's playing?
You need to turn off the 'autoBPMMatch' setting (VDJ 8 User's Guide page 109).

nothing wrong. I think I pushed smartplay or something without knowing it.
