seriously though I have noted on a few web comments that others have found that the 1204fx mixer just doesnt seem to push the sound out loud enough when compared to other mixers, trouble is no-one says which other mixers !!
anyone have this problem and if so which mixer did you swap to ?

Hi, i use the similar mixer the 1202fx. I have no problems with it. Im not sure what your doing. But you got to conect the audio source on stereo channels and press the gain button on the side the fader to +4 . The knob fader mut be on 0. And the master maximum on 0 to avoid distortion.. the volume must be set on the active speakers or the main amplifiers..
Be sure to connect you output signal on the main outs. Not the control room..
