Sujet Playlists wiping after save

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

This happened to me again tonight for the second time. I have a playlist which is pretty much a list of songs I have played at a particular venue. Today I had been working on it and saved it several times as the same name it had been before. When I got to my gig and clicked on the playlist it was completely empty.

It was around an hours work down the drain. I have a backup of the playlist but it was the unmodified one.

This is the second time this has happened to me. Anyone else had this issue?

never seen this one ...

maybe a how you made the list procedure would help trouble shoot .. since we all have different work flows.

the way i do and i haven't had this issue is ......
1. i drag the stuff i need to the side list
2. right click playlists and make a new one
3. drag the files to the list from sidelist

also i have auto save for playlists on if that matters

Did you try a check disk on your hard drive?
It indeed doesn't look like anything virtualdj would write to the file.

Hi Adion,
Just done a check and the drive is fine, the machine it was written on has a 128gb SSD and there are no errors.
This is the second time it has happened, and I'm sure it has something to do with when it is saved.
One thing I noticed is that sometimes when you go to "overwrite" a playlist with the same name, sometimes it asks if you want to replace the file and sometimes it does not.

What is the Drive Letter for this SSD ? Keep in mind that VirtualDJ wont be able to write on Drive Letters like A or B (starts from C)

It's the normal C drive and the playlist is in it's default location.
