It's all to do with the effects section.
I don't want effect 1 knob to select effect I just want the buttons to turn on fx and know to control par 1. So I can have 3 fx on each side loaded all the time if that makes sense?

IIRC there is a SHIT + ??? Combination to toggle between 1 and 3 effect mode.
Sadly I don't remember which button it was...

Something seems to be wrong with the mapping because a few people claim the shift and knobs aren't working.
Maybe the team should check the file.
And yes I do realize it does depend on the skin your using as well because I had to rename all my FX knobs and buttons for my SP1 and Denon MC4000 to get them to match the SliverSleek skin.

yeah i saw alot of poeple saying shift+ some buttons but nothings seemed to work.
ive only tried the orginal 2 deck skin with the 3 fx slots open and also trying a denon pro 8 skin with its advanced mapping but thats the same.

From this page: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/PDFManuals.html you get the operation manual for MC6000MK2 which is this file: http://www.virtualdj.com/documents/Denon%20MC6000MKII%20-%20VirtualDJ%208%20Operation%20Guide.pdf
Then you go on page 10 and you read the very first lines... SHIFT+TAP button toggles Single versus Multi FX mode per side of the controller!
