I wish VDJ 8 had an automix like OtsAv so we would not have to keep changing the type and length to make it a nice transaction when we are entertaining the dance floor or going to the bathroom. I have tried using the automix edit but its doesn't usually sound perfect everytime

OtsAV Auto DJ feature

Just set Autmix mode to "smart" and VDJ will Mix them IF they are properly mixable. Of course if will fail if the current track has 120 BPM and the next one 80 or something. But with tracks nearly the same BPM it works very well.
