it doesnt seem possible to link karafun with VDJ. Not only that but since downloading the recent "upgrade" karafun and or youtube wont run while VDJ is open. Love VDJ but if this cant be corrected I wont be able to keep it. For what I do this software rocks on the music end but because I do a fair amount of Karaoke as well and VDJ's Karaoke is horrible this wont work. A karafun plugin would be the Perfect addition.

I can't see a way to make a 'karafun' plugin. As far as I can tell it's a standalone app with no API so if you wanted a plugin for it then it would be up to them to create.
As for your sound issue try going into Settings > Options and ensuring that 'exclusiveAudioAccess' is set to No.
