Hi,
I bought a Digitech AM4252 mixer a few years back and have just started using it. It came with a copy of VirtualDJ 7 and a license code for it.
I've installed it and registered the code, however what exactly do I get for that that I can't get with the free version of VirtualDJ?
My main aim is to do karaoke but I can't even make the videos full screen unless I buy the PRO version?????
What gives?

The LE license is a limited edition. It allows use of a basic VirtualDJ with restricted feature set, but allows use of the controller it was bundled with. The free version doesn't permit that.
Full screen video in VDJ7 does indeed require a Pro Full license.

There is no trial in VDJ now (as far as I know). The Home version is free, but if you want to use it with a controller (over 10 mins) then you buy a license.

The LE versions of VDJ7 did come with a time-limited Pro trial.
If the trial isn't working, it's been expired for one of the reasons listed on this page:
http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/My%20trial%20expired%20early.html
If it's not LE, then the home version has the 10-minute trial as stated by groovindj above.
