Sujet Controlling LED Strips

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Is it possible to export information, such as bpm and cue points, to an arduino to control led strip lights?

edit: I understand almost nothing about arduino, so please put your answers in only slightly technical. However, any help will be appreciated

Don't know exactly what you want to do, but a while back I bought this small controller to get a sound to light effect.

You just connect the input with your master out signal and the output to your amp or whatever is next in you chain.

It has a frequency splitter for low and high frequencies.

This is what it looks like in action (not my video).

Or this one (my video):

EDIT:
It seems they are more common these days. So you could just buy something like this one:

ok, I dmx led light strips and then use the two way tape to wrap stuff with them.. the dmx led light controller only allows one strip and costs 21$ but there is a dmx for 4 light strips on ebay for 50$ usd.. there is 4 channels and they can be mapped really easy in freestyler through the fixture maker.. or even the 12 channel ... It is easy to set to led strip or tape
