Your current controller license will only work on the controller it was purchased with.
If you have a new controller you either need a new controller license or a Pro license.

VirtualDJ you can just download at your new PC, and login inside VirtualDJ, and license "transferred" to the new pc :)
Is your music on the internal drive of your old laptop?
If so, the best way to transfer your music (including BPM, cue markers etc) from old to new laptop, is to use VirtualDJ browser.
And copy/move all the music with the VDJ browser, from the old laptop to an external drive (using VDJ to do the file transfer).
After that you can connect this external to your new PC and any other PC, and all BPM, cues etc will be instantly available for VDJ on the computer.
If your music is already on external drive, then you dont have to do anything - just connect this drive to your new pc.
Hope that helps :)
