when playing videos ,if i go into the setting colum it freezes and wont rest, i have to restart, plus i can't record music my mic stays on and no music records only whats on the mic

Does it crash?
Are you using an up to date version of vdj.
Also your laptop specs could be useful

Where did you get the music? It may be copy protected if you didn't buy it.

im a video jockey, i have the newest version of the software, my laptop is fine, i was using the previous version with no issues, but this version has a lot of issues, when i change my skin or take out my hdmi cable the volume goes up untill it pared with the software
