Sujet Configuration Problems

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I submitted a ticket about this problem and all I got back was it was in setting, I need a little more help than that!! I have a numark platinum pro with 4 decks. When I changed vdj skin to that controller it has 4 columns of sliders for volume, mid, high, low knobs etc but my controller actually only has 2 columns. How to I go about changing it? Thanks in advance!!!

Doesn't this controller have 2 round toggle_buttons labelled "Deck3" and "Deck4" specially design for this purpose ?

If you only need 2 channels then use the default skin in 2 deck mode.

You are very lacking in the information you are providing so it's difficult to help you.

That step wasn't necessary. There's no requirement for the skin to duplicate the controller.

You have the physical hardware right there in front of you. The controls on the hardware do not need to be shown on screen. You can already see them on the controller.

What the screen (skin) needs to show is the stuff that isn't on the hardware. Track and artist info, waveforms, names of effects and samples...

I'd recommend using a skin that does not have a mixer on screen, or jog wheels, or all the other knobs and buttons that your controller has.

Your controller has the other two columns virtually. When you hit the deck button to switch to 3 or 4, the other two channels on the skin will react. Having all 4 displayed can help if you are using more than two decks. This way you can see what you left the other decks set to.
