Hello,
I was wondering if there was any way to display the album cover from the ID3 tag when an audio file is playing.

Effect "'Cover" is here for that. Can be selected both as Audio only source or as Overlay
Some video skins already show it

displays album cover from the ID3 tag if any or attached image if any

I was hoping that there was something where I can specify the size and maybe put a moving background
 
Ah, so when you say "display", you mean on a secondary screen (the video output), not just on the decks?
 
yes, I have a secondary display where it displays the video and karaoke, I wanted to do something nice for the audio files.
 
I use milkdrop , shader or telly
 
You can specify both size and position in cover effect parameters gui
 
For audio only files?
Yes, there are a few options including cover art:
 

Something simple but I personally wouldn't bother with cover art
 
locodog - That is exactly what I want to do. How did you accomplished that?
 
I used cover on deck 1 [the only deck playing] also shader on deck 1 with the transparency up at 75%, also shader on deck 2, used zVideoControl to have shaders&transitions&video crossfader change automatically. I used cover as a master video fx and scaled it down with position setting [one in the centre]. And for the spectral analyser that's the "for:broadcast" video skin that I stripped out everything and tweaked the eq element of the skin.

For some reason I can't scale down the "cover" fx. Did this change in VDJ2018? When I click on properties of the video and click position all I get is this.
