I had to check your Account stats to see you are using the Denon DJ ASIO driver.
The old Denon ASIO driver is not supported anymore (was too unstable to keep), so you ll have to use the Windows Wasapi driver.
However, it appears that the Denon sound card itself needs some further tweaks.
See http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/229868/VirtualDJ_Technical_Support/Solved_problems_with_Denon_DJ_ASIO_driver_and_HC-4500_.html?search=HC4500%20ASIO&page=1
it should apply to your case too.

Hello, I am having a similar issue to this one except I have no audio on all my decks but I have good communication between the controller and the computer. Everything works like it should except when I click play on the controller nothing happens in the software, The play button light on the controller even goes solid and flashes when I press it. I have everything plugged in correctly using the two XLR outputs and the USB going from the controller to the computer, with volume up, also I have all the settings setup in VDJ as well. I am using a Mac book pro
