will the TRAKTOR S2 MK3 controller work with VDJ 2020 and if so will my NEWMARK MIXTRACK 3 LICENCE cover its use.....excuse me if this is not in the correct forum

No. The Numark Mixtrack 3 license is for........the Mixtrack 3. You will either need to buy a new license for the S2 or get yourself a Pro license or subscription.
In the long run, if you keep changing controllers, it will be be better to get a full Pro license.
