Hey all. I was trying to destress and play around tonight and nothing was sounding right... I noticed the tracks were not playing in the correct key.
Never had a problem with this before. I loaded a few tracks and all was normal, they were in the key they should be. Then I'll load another and it is in the wrong key with random settings for keylock. I resolve this and load another song that was previously good, random settings, load another song and it is good. Load a song I fixed again and it may or may not have random settings... I want keylock off always for every track.
I would think if it is off, it would stay off. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Most likely you would want the Key of the track to stay unchanged (have its original value) even if you move the Pitch/Tempo fader, so Keylock (Master Tempo) should be enabled in this case.

Your issue is probably the Auto Match Key setting. When enabled, tracks will be automatically matched in Key with the other deck on load,. If you don't want this, you can disable from the Decks options menu (Nr.6 DECK OPTIONS http://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/deckbasics.html ) or Settings (setting autoKey)

Hey thanks, you nailed it. No idea how that got enabled. I test loaded all the tracks in my sidelist. A few random ones came up wrong, but after toggling/resetting the per deck keylock on those tracks, they loaded correctly.
I'll have to keep an eye on this for a while... Glad I got this cleared up. Very frustrating not being able mix haha. Thanks again!
