when using the backspin effect, it starts the song when finished backspinning automatically. Is there a way to make it whereas after choosing backspin, the record stops, and doesn't play again until I manually press play?

Yes, backspin gui have a "stop on end" button
click the + button right of knobs or click gear right of the effet name to open the gui
