i am trying to delete multiple sampler files that i created i want to remove the sound effects i have in them

the right way: same way deleting other tracks
browse tree to "sampler" select the subfolder
in song tab right click the sample to delete select "files operation -> delete"
make sure track info page is not open (otherwhise sample is "loaded" and can't delete)
the buggy way ... put the sample in a sidelist and click remove

You can also switch to list view in the sampler (sideview). And right click to remove
