Sujet Can't turn off microphone on booth
gtquinoPRO InfinityMember since 2011
Hello everybody!

I need some help. I have a Numark NVII, VirtualDJ 2020 (updated today). I'm broadcasting to Mixcloud.

My setup/config is as follow:

Master - NVII - Channels 1 & 2
Headphones - NVII - Channels 3 & 4

I have a USB audio interface where I connect my microphone and have configured the input as follows:
Input - USB Audio Codec - Channels 1 & 2

I have the master output connected to my computer (my main mix), and the speakers connected to the booth output.
However, when I'm broadcasting and turn the mic on, I hear it in the monitors, even if I have the boothMicrophone option set to NO.
Any ideas what I'm missing? I don't want my mic sound on the booth.

Thanks for your help!

What does your audio config look like? (Screenshot)

You need to have booth output configured in VDJ so that VDJ knows not to send the mic to that output.

Master and booth both feeding the same NV II channels? Surely you can then still hear the mic via the master?

Not a good idea to have two outputs sending to the same place anyway.
