I have a Bose heatset on bluetooth. The headphones work fine, but I can't get the micro activated. It is true that every time I start up I get the message that I do not have a sound card. Does one thing have to do with the other?

don't know if related to your headset but
mine have 2 bt modes:
- hifi (audio receiver stereo) with 44.1Khz stereo
- comm (audio receiver handfree) with 8khz mono and mic
no way to get mic and stereo activaed at the same time
