I have conflicting information about what licence I need to connect 4 decks through a gigaport sound card (8 rica outs) to an external mixer, to allow channels to be faded on the desk. VDJ have told me I need a pro licence to do this, but others have told me an analogue mixer purchase would do it for £94. It is for home use only.
It has also been suggested if I am logged on I will get 10 minutes at a time to use the pro licence to see if everything works as it should, but I don't seem to be getting this option either.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
