I'd like to modify some pad functions but I can't get reverse mode (playing the track backwards) to work.

I'd like to modify some pad functions but I can't get reverse mode (playing the track backwards) to work.
I put in
pad_pages 12 ? pitch_reset: pad 1so pad 1 resets pitch if in transport mode and it works just fine, but even if I just put in reverse without any shenanigans for pad 2 it doesn't do anything, so I assume my problem is with the syntax for reverse.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Leave the pad action as is (default action) and edit the Transport pad page instead

I'm super embarrassed, but I cannot find where to do that - can you please help? Version is 8.5-64 b6067.
Also: do I have to consider sth. in particular in order to set reverse mode?
