Not exactly sure how to describe it, but this always seems to happen if I change to window format and I can't figure out why. Nothing except restarting the program will fix it. Any ideas?

yes there are sometimes issues with window resize in some case (i.e.: when some different skins have been used in same session)
you can workaround this by doubleclicking resize zone (bottom right corner) in a way to reset initial settings then resize and save settings (or restart VDJ)

Changing screen resolution or dpi then I guess?
A restart of the program is probably needed then

When he says "change to window format" he's simply clicking the maximize button to switch between running VDJ full screen or "windowed" (floating).
