Sujet VDJ Stability !!!!

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I don't think VDJ has ever crashed since the 1.06 version. This program is simply amazing !!!!

224 ram... so 256Mo of DDR with 32Mo shared for your graphic card am I wrong?
You really need more ram! And as you have shared memory for your graphic card, is suppose you have a slow graphic card (certainly in a portable computer).
This might be your problem (Ram needs and slow Graphic card)
Be sure you have DirectX 9.0b installed on you PC and the latest graphic drivers too (take care with portable graphic drivers, they may be differents than desktop one)
Try also to change the memory setting on VDJ ("Max Load") to "none".
(I'm not sure this is the good words in the english version, look at the manual)
I hope this will help you.

Cacanel:

The tascam skin is now a pack with three resolutions: the 1280x960 skin don't have the bug you talked about in the skin page. Hope you enjoy it.

I was a at a point where VDJ crashed every single time i loaded which was strange.

I simply did a full uninstall ... i even manually completely wiped out the entire VDJ directory. Re-installed and now everything has been amazing since.

Works great with XP setup as well as my windows 2000.

both of my computers run it pretty well with 512 of ram. However, my next upgrade will definately include more ram.
To your question, yes... Virtual is for stronger faster machines. 128 of ram will probably run it, but it will run MUCH MUCH smoother if you jump up to at least 512.
I had 256 when I first installed VirtualDJ, and imediately knew I needed more.
