hi mate.
it's better to roll-back to the last working build (in my case the b5949 working perfect)
I get plenty of problems since the last update.

Doubt that helps...
And sort of counter productive, since later releases have important things ...

Maybe try update graphic drivers etc instead.
What us your current computer specs?

That can help a lot and the b5949 is not so old, june 2020.
I don't see where is counter productive with a build few months older.
Like he say since the last update he get those troubles, i'm in the same case, i have several problems from jogwheel to sound dropping and interface freezing etc... and i have a really good computer.
i remember last year i had several problem with a build, crashes, sound distortion etc... and no problems with a old build.

cant quite see any logic to it..
Should work fine, and using Ryzen and RTX myself as well.. . (although not same combo, have Ryzen on laptop, RTX on desktop)

Is it some custom made user skin perhaps?
And can always try disable math engine in settings just to rule that out.

thank you
I tried turn off Math engine off/ from GPU to CPU still same problem
i realized the issue happens when i run other stuff on the PC nearby
can be firefox etc but it happens too when i run OBS which i use for streaming with VDJ
feels like PC fully occupied
but the CPU usage looks ok RAM ok GPU ok

When it happens or when running all these apps, click CTRL ALT DEL
and check if any of them are eating up all the resources of the computer.. .

Or blocking something. You kind said you already looked, but try reproduce and keep an eye on it.
Maybe some rogue background app or something that kicks in

Can also use this tool, that can be good at spotting troublesome apps or processes :
https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

Although sometimes it can be tricky to pinpoint what..
Other likely candidates are Dell or other brands "bloatware" such as Game Enhancer, Background update etc.

And you can also try right-clicking the VirtualDJ icon and choose run with Nvidia.
(if you have a secondary crap GPU, if its a laptop...)

look like a conflict between the graphics cards when you launch vdj, i don't remember exactly, there's a option in the nvidia driver panel to select which application you can launch with the nvidia gpu or the integrated gpu.
on my old pc i have that kind of conflict with vdj, i remember i selected by default the integrated gpu.
Try to copy your vdj folder to an external hdd, then unistall everything and remove manually the rest of vdj data.
Do a fresh installation and copy first from your backup folder the Playlist folder and the database.xml to the new and fresh folder of vdj. don't copu the settings.xml, maybe your problem come from there.
I have a Ryzen 5 with the vega 8 gpu, work fine.
