Hi,
Not sure why i get distorted sound as i increase my volume levels when using my Roland 505 with this laptop. Unless i need to adjust the laptop sound card. I just got this laptop this weekend . Is the problem that it's AMD or just need to fix settings.

I doubt that it's the cpu
As I recall it those Roland controllers run a little hot
So make sure that you are not sending more than 1 signal to master out in the auduo config (like maybe the cue output), and then try setting zerodb quite low. Like maybe try setting it to -12db

Ok Klaus will try that when i get back home. I guess i'm spoiled from using a macbook for so long. not use to the pc sound card process. Thanks Again!
