At first i tried to get an external microphone to work with my Roland DJ-505 without any success. As I also wanted to add some echo to my voice I switched from my 505 to a Reloop RMX-9à mixer. And Yes I got everything to work 'outside' of Virtual DJ. But not, as needed with VDJ. I prefer to use an external microphone and not the easy way out by using an USB microphone hooked up to my laptop as I consider the sound quality and control less than 'good'.
So far I was very unlucky with setting up the system as I wanted. They all 'promote' the plug-and-play' concept, but this is making me frustrated beyond words. In none of the 'hardware ' manuals are step by step 'guides' getting the damn thing to work ... Please don't force me to abandon my beloved VDJ for another program that supports my needs.
So in short. I need a step by step guide to make my microphone hooked up with my RMX-90 (and that is operational) functioning in VDJ to that the voice can be used to broadcast too...
