I have an ddj-sb3 using Virtual dj 2020 , and recently the audio files periodically distort, and i have to stop and reload the song . I notice it only happens with the sb3, as i have no problems when using my other controller the ddj-sr2.
the main difference between the two is that with the ddj-sr2 , vdj uses its ASIO driver. But when i use the sb3, it only detects the windows WASAPI driver. I downloaded the sb3 ASIO driver, but i cant get VDJ to recognize it. I feel that if i could , it would stop the distortion because ASIO is better for performance audio.
How can i get VDJ to detect the sb3 ASIO driver?

There is no driver for SB3, so not sure which one u installed https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software/controller/ddj-sb3/#drivers
For devices to only have WASAPI is OK of course.
for your issue try...
- connect SB3 to USB
- Open Windows Sound and make sure the SB3 is NOT the default playback device.
- See if that help in VDJ now
