Sujet XDJ RX3
Hi Guys,

I have the XDJ RX3, its a great piece of equipment, because i can switch from stand alone to controller mode on the fly.

The question I have is, the audio on VDJ is way louder than the audio on my RX3, so I've dropped the Headroom by -9db, but now I don't have any audio markers on the controller?

Is there another way to get a perfect sync between the software and the controller?

I've tried it with Rekordbox dj, and the sync is perfect with audio markers matching the stand alone ones, I've checked in the pioneer settings and it says -9db so what's the difference?

Thanks

Try to remap the VUMETER to
get_level_log -12
or
get_level_log -9
and see if that helps

Try using the RX3 in hardware mode instead. Can be set from within VDJ options.

I need some help, in Hardware Mixer mode can you still MIDI MAP the crossfader to mix video in VDJ ?

Yes. The crossfader is still mapped in "XDJ-RX3" mixer mode.
You should just link the video crossfader to the audio crossfader in VirtualDJ settings.
This can be done either by right-clicking on master video preview window and using the menu provided, or by changing the "videoCrossfader" setting inside VirtualDJ settings. Select "Linked" or "Smart"
