I've been using Mixx and now trying to switch to VirtualDJ, but I notice that the option to make your broadcast public that is on Mixx is missing on VDJ? When I broadcast it shows as private only. What am I missing?!

That part of hte configuration has to be handled on the site. For instance, if you are using caster.fm that's where you can set public/private options. Your provider may be similar.
